The 21st annual Cochrane Classic went down last night with a roaring crowd.

The charity game raised $1,574 for the Cochrane Activettes Food Bank.

Cochrane High School Leadership Teacher Lisa Gordon Reese says the goal of the event is to bring people together.

"Usually we're rivals in sports, but this brings both schools together for a great cause to raise money for the Cochrane Food Bank and the Cochrane Activettes."

The game was once again a major success with the SLS Centre’s Totem 1 filled to the brim.

"I love that the stands are full of camaraderie between the kids, it's amazing. And yeah, it's just a great fun event."

The game was a high scoring one with a final score of 8-7 and the Cochrane Cobra’s coming out on top.
