Cochrane residents and motorists are asked to avoid Centre Avenue between First Street and Mountain Street due to a gas leak.
"Crews are on scene and responding to complete the work as quickly as possible." Reads a press release from the town of Cochrane.
The road is anticipated to reopen as soon as work in the area is complete.
