An evening filled with soulful holiday melodies, dedicated to raising funds for the Iyahrhe Nakoda Food Bank is set to go for tomorrow night in Historic Downtown Cochrane.

Jeziah and Mylena Altares, collectively known as “JAM” are accomplished R&B vocalists celebrated for their soulful tones, musical expertise, and captivating stage charisma, are set to enchant you with a delightful blend of holiday classics, original compositions, and R&B favourites. Each performance is infused with their distinctive style and unwavering passion, promising an unforgettable musical experience.

Jeziah says she and her sister have been playing together for many years.

"My sister is a guitar teacher and she has been singing and playing the guitar since she was in elementary school. I have been singing since I was very small and because we come from a very musical family, they have always encouraged us to chase music and share that with the world."

The pair, from Calgary, performed at Found last year and Jeziah says it was such a treat.

"Oh my gosh, they're the best people because you know that you're going to get a genuine crowd, a genuine audience and having an intimate crowd just makes the experience so much better. They can sing along, they can clap, they can laugh along with your jokes and you can just engage with the audience."

The Holiday Benefit Concert with Jeziah & Mylena will go on Saturday, December 2nd from 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Iyahrhe Nakoda Food Bank.
