The 2023 Cochrane Chamber Trade Show will be back in a big way this weekend.

For the first time in several years, the annual event will fill two arenas at Spray Lake Sawmills Centre.

Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce President Ozzie Sawicki said "It's just exciting to be back to a full in-person opportunity to support the business community and ultimately the larger community in town. It's a chance for people to come meet the businesses that are active in our community. There's also non-profits that are in the trade show as well."

It's a good opportunity for businesses to see what the Chamber can do to support them, Sawicki said.

"It's a chance to showcase what is available in town and surrounding area. Our board will all be attending, so there will be board members with name badges on so people can ask questions of us, and we can help them in terms of information about how we operate as a Chamber."

More than 150 booths will be set up.

There will be daily prizes, entertainment for children and samples on hand.

Plans are still preliminary, but they're also working on hosting an additional trade show in October said Sawicki.

The entrance fee is cash only.
Kids 12 & Under:  Free
Anyone 13 & Up:  $2.00/day
