A 39-year-old man is fighting for his life following a serious crash west of Balzac this afternoon. 

According to RCMP, a motorcycle and a minivan collided at the intersection of Hwy 566 and Range Road 13 at approximately 1:30 p.m.

The driver of the motorcycle was airlifted by STARS to hospital with serious, life threatening injuries.

There's no word if anyone else was injured.

The RCMP Collision Analyst is aiding in the investigation.
