Effective August 2020 Springbank Middle School (SMS) will be welcoming back a familiar face to the school community, this time serving as Acting Principal.

Rocky View Schools (RVS) has announced the leadership appointment of Mary Magee, who will be stepping in as Acting Principal of Springbank Middle School. Magee is no stranger to SMS, as she previously taught at the grade five to eight school for ten years.

Magee has been Acting Principal of Manachaban School in Cochrane since 2019, and she has been a veteran of RVS since 1999. 

Over the past 21 years, Magee has worked as a teacher, Assistant Principal and Acting Principal within Rocky View Schools, serving the school communities of Mitford, Springbank Middle School as well as Banded Peak.
