A little holiday joy can go a long way, even at Halloween!

Owen has officially won Cochrane's Best Costume contest for his rendition of Buddy the Elf. His costume got well over 1,200 votes to be crowned the champion this year. Owen is now the proud owner of 91.5 pounds of Halloween candy from Save-On-Foods Cochrane.

His grandmother, Jodi came and picked up his winnings while Owen was in class.

She expects him to share most of the candy with his hockey team, trick-or-treaters and hopefully he can donate a box or two.
