Cochranites are invited to experience a day of animal-themed excitement at the second annual Cochrane Pet Expo.

Organizer Kailey Mitchell said there will be something for every pet lover to enjoy from the Global Pet Foods Super Dogs, to face painting and balloon twisting.

"We've got quite a bit of dog related things but this year we have cat rescues that will be joining us, we've got a couple horse rescues that are going to be there with horses, we had horses there last year as well. Butterfield Acres is going to be there. It's just a really fun day, especially if you love animals and you can bring the whole family out."

Event goers are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends and new this year is your chance to get a pet photo said Mitchell.

"That was one of the things that surprised me the most last year was how many people did bring their pets, which was awesome, which is why the Ag Society is a great space to be in."

There will be marketplace vendors on hand as well as food trucks.
