Rocky View stands down fire advisory

What a difference a few days makes.

With wet and snow conditions expected to continue, the Rocky View County Fire Services has immediately lifted its fire advisory for the entire county and permit burning is allowed.

While the fire advisory has been lifted in the county, there may still be advisories or bans in neighbouring municipalities. For information on fire bans and advisories in other areas of the province, visit AlbertaFireBans.ca.

Rocky View fire officials advise people to follow safe burning practices.
