On November 20, around 8:30 pm Cochrane RCMP responded to a robbery/assault near Township Road 264.

Cochrane RCMP say the homeowner had allowed a couple into her home as she was selling an 8 week old puppy from a recent litter.

Once inside the residence, the male and female suspect picked up the Bluenose French Bulldog puppy and fled from the house.

RCMP say the homeowner followed and attempted to stop the couple when she was shoved to the ground. The suspects then left the scene headed eastbound on Highway 1A in a blue sport car.

RCMP say both suspects barely spoke English and stated they were from El-Salvador.

The male is described as approximately 5'10 or 5'11 with darker skin, possibly Hispanic, with short brown well styled hair. Slender build wearing blue jacket, white polo shirt, blue jeans and white converse style shoes.

The female, also believed to be Hispanic, has brown hair, slender build and small in size.

RCMP are cautioning residents to be careful when selling goods on social media and allowing strangers in your home.

The puppy is valued at $4000.
