Here's a chance to stock up on your winter reads while supporting the Cochrane Public Library.

This Saturday and Sunday, the Friends of the Library are hosting a gigantic book sale at the Cochrane RancheHouse. It runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Library director Monique Fiedler-Sills says there's an incredible selection of titles to suit a wide variety of interests.

"I would really recommend going, especially before winter, to stock up."

She praises the Friends for all their efforts in support of the library.

"This year they are giving us funding for necessary IT upgrades, so very crucial to our work and also crucial to one of the things we offer to the public, which is free computer access."

"It's of great benefit to the public as well as staff in helping us do our jobs and working to serve the community better."

Debit/credit and cash will be accepted.

There's also a 50/50 raffle that will finish right before Christmas.
