Those commuting to south Calgary may want to make note of upcoming three-day ramp closures on the Deerfoot Trail.

The ramps from eastbound Anderson Rd. and northbound Bow Bottom Tr. to northbound Deerfoot Tr. will be closed from Apr. 19 to 22 as part of the ongoing Deerfoot Trail improvements.

Access to southbound Deerfoot Trail will remain open. This closure is required to safely accommodate the removal of the existing overhead southbound bridge on Deerfoot Trail.

It is scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. on Apr. 22 in time for Monday morning rush hour.

Within the work zone, permanent speed reductions will be in place: 80 kph through the realigned section of Deerfoot Trail; and 50 kph on Bow Bottom Tr. SE and Anderson Rd. SE
