The Cochrane Lions Club welcome people to dust off their boots, press those shirts and shape those hats with their fourth annual Spring Fling barn dance on Apr. 22 at the Cochrane Lions Events Centre.

"It's a kick-off to spring for everybody. It kind of breaks the cabin fever and gets everybody back out in the community," says Lions president Chris Connon.

It also raises some seed money to get the gears in motion for the 56th Annual Labour Day Weekend Rodeo.

Glen Brown and Headin' West will be helping people kick up their heels. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the band hits the stage around 8 p.m.

Connon says they've left the price at $20 to make them as affordable as possible for people.

They've had packed houses for the last three spring dances, and Connon encourages people to get them online in advance to avoid disappointment.
