Town council has approved the purchase of 46 Griffin Industrial Point for future use.

After an in-camera session Monday night, agreed to purchase the 8.05 acre property for $6.3 million.

No specifics details on how the town intends to use the land on the east end of the industrial park other than council will be exploring options.

After a motion was made by Alex Reed to purchase the land, councillor Morgan Nagel said he sees plenty of potential for the property, and believed the price was reasonable.

The parcel is the current location of Moose Mountain Log Homes Inc.
