Yamnuska Wolf Dog Sanctuary is in the midst of expanding to house its newest residents, 22 wolfdogs.

The not-for-profit organization is hosting a new fundraiser in hopes of offsetting the costs of building six new enclosures.

“All the funds are going towards our Warmland Rescue,” says Alison Bortolon, Fund Development manager with the Sanctuary. “Which is 15 wolfdogs that we rescued and then an additional six and then another one so far this year.”

“The last time we had to build new ones was about $50,000. As most people know, construction costs have gone up significantly and so now we're looking at closer to $60,000 per enclosure and we're building six new enclosures this spring and fall, summer and spring.”

Running until June 19,  participants have a chance to win a roundtrip flight for two to any regularly scheduled WestJet destination. Purchase one of 100 keys, and watch the Facebook live on June 20th to see if your key unlocks the prize.

With only 100 keys available, the Sanctuary expects them to sell out well before the deadline.
