The weather is warming up this weekend reaching ahigh of 8°C on Sunday. We may see some of the ice melting, over the next few days, which means some outdoor rinks are coming to a close.
Mitford Pond remains open heading into the weekend. With the warmth staying through the next few weeks the rink may soon be closed.
The Tim Bannister Memorial Arena has already shut down, having closed on February 23rd due to poor ice conditions.
