A whole lot of excitement is building up in Cochrane as we welcome Hometown Hockey.

A pre event kicks off this evening (February 10) when community members are invited to SLSFSC to take virtual photos with some favourite NHL players and Sportsnet personalities in augmented reality from 5 to 9 pm.

Tomorrow (February 11)  the action begins at noon and is expected to draw in thousands of people from Cochrane and area.

It will be an action packed two days and will come special guests Ron MacLean, Tara Sloane, Juno Award winner Paul Brandt, as well as former NHLers Brendan Morrison, Robyn Regehr, Curtis Glencross, and Jamie Macoun.

Be mindful that there is no parking at SLSFSC, but shuttle service is provided and traffic will be congested.
