A precautionary advisory for air quality in the MD of Foothills issued May 28th, has now been lifted.

The advisory was put in effect due to the wildfires burning in the Municipal District (MD) of Foothills in AHS’ Calgary Zone which included Bragg Creek, Redwood Meadows, Tsuu  T’ina  Nation and west Calgary.
Although the wildfires impacted the air quality in these communities it is no longer a threat at this time.

Weather conditions and prevailing winds can impact air quality conditions at any time shares Alberta Health Services, and residents who could be affected can check in at www.airquality.alberta.ca
