With the legalization date of cannabis looming overhead, many municipalities and school division have been forced to make changes to their policies and Rocky View is no exception. 

 At the Sept. 20 meeting of Rocky View Schools' board of trustees some changes were made to the division's drugs and alcohol policy to include cannabis.

Cannabis will be treated similarly to alcohol and tobacco in the sense that it is not permitted on any Rocky View School grounds or function by student or staff without facing disciplinary action.
