There was a three vehicle collision yesterday (February 17) when two vehicles both tried to beat the yellow.

Cochrane RCMP, Constable Morin says one vehicle facing north waiting to turn onto George Fox Trail and another vehicle headed south on Highway 22 both thought they could beat the yellow at the same time.

The impact caused the northbound vehicle to spin subsequently hitting another vehicle that was facing east waiting to turn north on Highway 22.

Cst Morin says even though many were involved, injuries were limited.

"There was some very minor discomfort neck injuries in one of the drivers so he was transported to hospital for precautionary medical attention."

No tickets were issued as of yet, as RCMP were still waiting on statements. Traffic was rerouted while emergency crews cleaned debris.
