Cochrane RCMP has been called to assist with an out of control grass fire near Spring Bank Heights Drive and Spring Bank Heights Way. 

Calgary Fire Department is currently on scene battling the blaze. Possible evacuations could happen and residents are asked to be prepared to leave.

RCMP are also asking motorists to avoid the area.
