Development permit in circulation to rebuild Ramada

A development permit application to rebuild the Ramada Hotel in Cochrane is now in circulation.

The application is to redevelop its 10 West Side Dr. lot into a hotel with 90 rooms. Drawings indicate it will continue to offer an indoor waterslide and pool and appears to be an updated version of what was previously there.

The Ramada was destroyed by a fire that began on Feb. 6, 2022. It has left the town short of hotel rooms.
