Yesterday (Monday) was three-for-three for Calgary Flames players playing at the IIHF World Championships.

Mackey, Nesterov and Pettersen all picked up wins on Monday.

The Flames have five players who suited up this year, with Andrew Mangiapane playing for Canada, Connor Mackey representing the USA, Nikita Nesterov suiting up for Russia, Emilio Pettersen playing for Norway and Ilya Solovyov playing for Belarus.

Cochrane's Dillon Dube was supposed to be joining Team Canada but was forced to sit this one out due to a concussion.

Flames Forward, Andrew Mangiapane posted four points to send Canada to its third win in a row in Riga, in Canada's latest match against Italy.

Now, it all comes down to Canada's final matchup of the round-robin against Finland scheduled for today, (June 1). The team will lay it all on the line today, or they'll be heading home. Canada is currently tied for fourth place with Germany in Group B with a 3-3 record.

The world Championship wraps up in Riga, Latvia on June 6.
