Cochrane ladies are invited to a night of knowledge and entertainment.

Cochrane Northstar Ford are hosting their first ladies ladies evening where they will educate ladies on how to prepare your vehicle for winter.

Jackie Gibson, Northstar Ford Sales Representative, says they will teach ladies some basics so they are prepared if something happens and preventive maintenance.

"If you are looking after your vehicle, doing checks on your tires, you're less likely to be stranded at the side of the road or have to come in to the shop for a major repair."

Gibson says she herself has learned lots along the way, and if anything, is now more comfortable around her vehicle.

"Before I started working at the dealership I could put gas in my vehicle and go, now I have a better understanding of what it takes to run a vehicle and maintenance that is actually required."

The all-ladies evening will also feature tips and tricks from Amanda Fewer, Service Manager at Northstar Ford, and a look at new technology that can be found in Ford SUVs.

Gibson adds, to top off the evening there will be vendors and a visit from Cochrane Humane.

"We have a few local businesses coming down, we also have the Humane Society bringing down a couple of animals that are up for adoption. We will have vendors, cupcakes, puppies, and tons of information."

The evening is free for all ladies, taking place Thursday, October 13 from 5-7 pm.
