One of the biggest television series in Canada is looking for its fans to have a part in a very special episode.

The show is hosting its Fan Extras Day on July 15, inviting hundreds of extras to participate in a rodeo competition scene.

Fans eager to be part of the show can register online to secure a spot. While the exact filming location is being kept under wraps, it is within an hour's drive of downtown Calgary. Extras are asked to dress in cowboy hats and western wear, similar to what they would wear for the Calgary Stampede.

Registration is first-come, first-served, and not everyone who registers will be selected. Organizers will notify successful applicants by email on July 9. Filming is expected to take five to six hours.

Heartland is currently filming its 18th season, with new episodes set to air in the fall.
