Didsbury RCMP were tracking a couple of suspects that were believed to be armed with firearms north of Cochrane on Friday morning. 

Mounties were tracking the individuals, who were believed to be a man and a woman, west of Carstairs.

They are reportedly traveling on foot.

Residents residing between Township Road 302 and Highway 580, and between Range Road 15 and Range Road 20, were urged to shelter in place, secure their doors, and contact 911 if they spotted any suspicious individuals.
