Time for the rest of Cochrane to join the fun

Cochrane grade 3 students have come up with some pretty creative names for the town's four snowplows and a brand-new dedicated street sweeper.

Now, the town is calling upon the rest of the community to join in on the fun by voting for their favourites.

Residents are invited to cast their vote before Nov. 27 by visiting www.letstalkcochrane.ca/snow-plow-contest. The winning names will adorn the sides of our real snow plows 

Here's the shortlisted names selected by town administration, based on creativity, popularity, and how well the names capture the unique spirit of Cochrane.

Grade 3 students from seven schools participated in the snowplow naming contest: Westbrook Elementary, Rancheview, Glenbow Elementary, Fireside, École Notre-Dame Des Vallees, Holy Spirit School, and Cochrane Christian Academy.
