The Back Pack Program is well underway and volunteers came together yesterday to start packing supplies for students in need.

Back to school for Cochrane students is September 5, and thanks to the generosity of the Cochrane community kids in need won't go with out. It is year eight for the program and both demand and the support of Cochranites continues to grow.

Staff from Family Community Support Service (FCSS) and Staples worked together to start packing even though donations will gratefully be accepted until the end of September. The back pack program looks to provide 200 or more students with the essentials to get back to class.

Most donations come in a monetary form which allows FCSS and Staples to stretch the cash as far they can, but if a family wishes to buy supplies that is welcome too.
