Cst. Bonnie Sauve with the Cochrane RCMP says there were several vehicles involved. "At least 15 passenger vehicles were being towed after RCMP arrived. People were trying to get out of the area and clear the roads themselves."
"No serious injuries were reported. There were at least three or four people transported with minor injuries to the hospital. Two semi-trucks, one needed to be towed by a heavy-duty tow truck out of the ditch."
Cst. Sauve says there are still vehicles in the area but traffic is moving.

"We're just urging and recommending people stay indoors today due to the weather. If they need to leave then keep that time and distance between the car in front of them wherever they need to go."
