The annual Walk of the Cross will be happening once again this Good Friday, Mar. 29.

The walk starts at 10 a.m. and will go through Historic downtown to the Cochrane Cenotaph starting on the corner of 1st Ave. and Centre Ave. There are multiple stops where the congregations reflect upon the final steps of Jesus Christ and his crucifixion and singing songs of praise.

The event normally garners a large following, with last years event exceeding 400 people.

This will mark the third year in a row the walk will be held since returning from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Everyone is encouraged to come to the walk regardless of faith, last year saw 11 different congregations.

The weather won't be bad but dress warm if you plan on attending.
