The top priority of the Rocky View School Division is included in the list of new schools and modernization announced today by Education minister Adriana LaGrange.

An addition and modernization of the Bow Valley High School has been approved as one of the 15 priority school projects. Last week's provincial budget included $251 million over three years for these projects.

Expansion of the Bow Valley High School has been the top priority of RVS in recent years. Some short-term relief was provided this fall with the addition of some modulars. 

By the end of September, enrolment had reached 833 students with a utilization rate of 92 per cent.
